Easter Weekend 2015

With Easter already upon us for 2015 we just wanted to say a safe and Happy Easter to everyone. Easter is a great time to get away with family and friends and we hope everyone has a fun and safe Easter long weekend. We hope the Easter bunny brings everyone lots of chocolate!
This Easter some members of the CozyB team headed up to Eildon for a Jet Ski. The water temperature may be starting to drop but that didn’t stop the thousands of people heading to Lake Eildon for the weekend, whether that is at Eildon itself, or other lakeside towns such as Bonnie Doon, Jamieson, Goughs Bay or Fraser National Park. There were plenty of houseboats, jet skis, ski boats and fishing boats out on the water. Unfortunately for us we were only able to spend one day on the water, which in the morning boasted almost no wind keeping the water nice and still but as the middle of the day approached the wind increased which produced quite choppy water out on the lake. This made jet skiing on the Yamaha Superjet stand up Jet Ski quite bouncy and challenging, which was awesome, although I did wake up quite sore the next day.
With Easter marking the start of April the ambient temperatures are starting to drop and the water temperatures will continue to decline. This isn’t so good for the people who love their water sports but that means Winter is getting closer! With Anzac Day being the only public holiday (even though it falls on a Saturday this year) before the Queen’s Birthday weekend (which traditionally marks the start of the snow season in Australia) it means we’re past another milestone on the way to the start of the snow season here in Australia. Let’s hope it’s a great season. Only 60 days until season opening at Mt. Buller and Mt. Hotham.
